Dr A Colin Day - author of Collins Thesaurus of

the BibleThis Web site is about some books, some programs, maps of villages and the person who produced them.

Two books are Roget's Thesaurus of the Bible (Full) and Roget's Thesaurus of the Bible (Concise). The full version has 115,224 Bible references. The concise version has only 61,923 references, but these have been chosen as the useful ones and the print is larger and easier to read. These books can now be purchased from any bookseller.

Revised programs have been written to display all the material in these two books on your PC. You can download the programs from the Downloads section of this web site.

After 30 years work compiling the material in these two books, I have produced my suggestions for sensible ways of interpreting the Bible, and the major themes which I have found thoughout it. This material is now published as Getting it straight from the Bible.

Warning! An earlier edition of Roget's Thesaurus of the Bible is being published by Castle Books. This is an out-of-date inferior version, and their right to publish it has, I believe, expired. I have tried to contact Castle Books, but without success. If anyone knows how I can get in touch with them, please let me know.

The maps of villages are to help those needing to find particular houses, which are usually only identified by a name. They are available free of charge, and are being used by delivery men, meter readers, the Emergency Services etc.
